Zonia's Healing Yogic Philosophy:
Three Integrated Styles:
1. Hatha Yoga: Slow meditative alignment based instruction leading to a short musical flow using the postures of the class influenced by Iyengar, Bikram and Ashtanga. Mulitiple breaths per posture leading to synchronized single breath dance per movement slow flow vinyasa.
2. Gentle Yoga: Joint mobility and spinal health self-healing stretching modality utilizing intuitive biotensegrity inspired flowing postures of both surrender and strengthening influenced by Feldenkris, yin, Qi Gong, and Pilates.
3. Pranayama Shamanic Yoga: Series combining breath, vocalizations, movements, bhandas and repetition to clear stagnant mental and physical energy Qi Gong, kundalini and indigenous related methodology.
My Yogic Belief System:
Yoga is a way of life for me now. When I began however, it was the beginning of coming back to life. I have utilized yoga asana, meditation, and breath work to change my health, my mind and my spirit.
I offer all my gratitude and strength to the practice of living life in union with all beings and seeing their cultural background, religious belief systems, and economic status as part of the magical mosaic of life bringing us together as one.
The idea that we are interconnected, not only with each other, but with the memories we are housing in the vessel of our body in the muscles, joints, ligaments, sometimes on our very skin we are the storehouses for experiences and every person we have made contact with or have had relations with is a part of our story lines.
I believe that the practice of yoga on the mat is gearing us towards understanding how to maintain boundaries but function together as one organism moving breath and dance simultaneously, like everything else in the planet that doesn't have the freedom to make so many decisions. They are easier to manuveur and therefore abide by a conscious code of creation and if we could surrender control it would all get back into place so much more easily.
I found yoga at the young age of 14. At that time it was a physical practice. After injuring myself in a snowboarding accident in my 20's, yoga became a lifeline and helped me come into deep contact with my intuitive self. This connection helped guide me through self-healing, not only my body but my brain of a pituitary tumor.
I have learned from the experience of moving from my spine and breath in order to retrain my body to move fluidly and listening to my inner guidance that yoga is an internal practice and a moving prayer. Asanas are the vehicle through which our mind-spirit move and changes us from the core. After 24 years of practice and a wide variety of personal adaptations and advancement, I teach to all levels. I train teachers how to teach Tantra Hatha yoga, as in yoga synchronized with instantaneous four limb independent middle mind orchestration, or inspiration, or breath. As you wish...

Letter to My Readers
I am praying to gather us all together for a mutually beneficial ceremonial community spiritual life enjoying every moment of the waves crashing, the sunrising and setting, talking to people from our souls and our hearts, to learn how to honor and bless those who honor and bless us. I am praying to gather people together who want to take a time out of the distractions from life to be fully present with themselves, with the beauty that is Mother, and to understand how to hold each other near and dear to our hearts.
I know whoever it is that comes together, even just in thought, we will have a healing experience together learning how the supporting of one is the healing of all. It is the experience of the greatest love stories we will ever tell or hear.
