Imagine yourself immersed in the sounds of the rhythmic sea rocking your heart and body into deep sleep and rejuvenating dreams. Like the singing of the jungle frogs at night, the journey of the body being informed and reformed by the Nayarit is nature's hum.
This retreat is a marriage between ancestral beauty ways and integrated yogic psychological ways of viewing ourselves, our world, and our stories. This journey is deeply supported by knowledgable, experienced teachers, the surroundings, Mar de Jade's loving knowledgable staff, and the bringing together of two worlds of learning.
We will meet on the beach with fire, pass through into stillness, contemplation and healing, finally, celebrating and enjoying the Riviera Nayarit.

Ritual is our natural symbolic language speaking connection and can helping us live in harmony with ourselves, each other and the planet. In this wellness week, we will focus on indigenous ritual, meditative practices, listening and intention, as well as explore the healing benefits of self-contemplation and celebration.
There will be plenty of time for rest, the beach, exploring nearby Chacalla, enjoying our time together, and letting the Nayarit work its magic.
If you love exploring other cultures, yourself and your environment, this is the week for you! Come prepared to pray, move your body, dance, share kind community, and have plenty of fun!

Ritual Component:
Ritual is our natural symbolic language speaking connection and helping us live in harmony with ourselves, each other and the planet. Ritual and the living of life as ceremony is the beauty way in action. Creating sacred space and acknowledging the elements which surround and inhabit the physical body is intrinsic to our relationship with self, other, spirit, and the planet.
In this wellness week, focusing first on meditative presence, we will combine alchemical elements of indigenous body listening, add beauty, incorporate relaxation and connection.
We will have two temazcal, sweat lodges. One will take place at the beginning of the week, the second at the end. In the middle there will be a group healing ritual and throughout we will circle, bringing our group into meaningful connection and sharing.

Experience:
Twelve years in public and private educational sectors. Non-profit organization experience, youth advocacy, healing of familial wounds, womb and women's trauma work. Including over 25 years of yoga experience and over 15,000 sessions with clients in visionary, healing and somatic work. A lifetime of lineage work as a born healer.
Speciality: Ritual, Art, Prayer, and the Beauty Way
Beliefs and Philosophies:
I believe in medicines of the heart, relying on prayer and meditation to channel and transmute base energies into higher states of consciousness. I believe in Universal breath energy to treat the whole person, combined with knowledge and Soul Purpose in order to achieve greater states of happiness, health, and harmony.
