BECOMING: Ceremonial Embodied Arts
Ongoing series
TBA locations and dates
This is a heartfelt invitation to gather for a one day Ceremonial Experience. We will be immersed in the beauty of Lake Tahoe's Forest and in walking distance to the blue waters of the lake. This experience will be focused on creating authentic and sacred connections to each other. Most importantly, this Ceremony is intended to ascend each woman’s relation to her own body, heart and spirit. The Ceremonial container will be held by supportive healers and ritualists, who believe that true feminine healing is to be found and cultivated within our softness and feeling of safety. Safety that comes from connection to our centers, the beauty of Earth’s nature, Ancestral connections and the infinite expansion available to us through prayer, meditation, movement and embodiment This Ceremonial Experience will be the first of an ongoing series that will introduce ritual art as the bridge between the spiritual and emotional by exploring the many facets of artistic form. Through these deeply reverent and transformative rites of art, we allow the body to be channeled. By doing so, we receive inspiration from the unseen realms to guide us to new levels of perception, appreciation for the Self (our body containers) and the paths that have been laid out before us. |

I believe in the prioritization of women’s health, accessibility to reproductive care and Ancestral reverence as forms of spiritual growth. The core of femininity to me is a combination of psychic, womb and body awareness. I am a woman, nurturer, spell caster, womb enthusiast, psychic and 12 year massage therapist. What life has taught me up until this point, is that if I unbind the stigma within/without of my body, embrace ritual and cultivate my magick—radical healing happens when women come home to themselves. |
Zonia Lucero, CMT, ordained minister, M.A. Depth Psychologist, TIR
I believe in power of femininity to heal hearts in our softness is our greatest strength. When we return to a state of safety, we are better able to listen and connect with our breath as inspiration and our true essence beyond the wounds of our families, societies, and the stories of our own lives. In our softness, forgiveness and acceptance allow us to be molded and to mold the present moment with gratitude and make room for joy in our lives, however sweet or powerful it chooses to manifest. Brining our feeling to form through art transforms experience through medium into beauty. |
